We often hear “Life’s Purpose” in different contexts. But what is it? How can one find their purpose in life?
To get there, you need to ask these three questions to yourself.
- Who am I?
- What makes my heart filled?
- What do I do with it?
Find your identity to answer “who am I.” Take out your mind from the things happening around you and talk to yourself, ponder your memories, experiences, scars, heartbreaks, thoughts, relationships, feelings. They will guide you to the lessons you have learned. Not everyone has the same experiences that teach you a lesson. The lessons you learned with all these feelings, thoughts will define your values. Societal standards are defined. But not everyone fits into one, and we will not have the same values. If you do not fit into any, you create your own!
You can be anything you want! Yes, absolutely!
Apply those values to find satisfying work. Whatever the physical, mental, emotional stress you face, if you wake up the next day with renewed energy to do the same work you are passionate about. Your heart is thrilled to do it every single day. You will find ways to keep yourself engaged in the same work no matter what you face. The level of energy you feel is unexplainable!
Feel the energy that comes from focusing on what excites you!
There are so many out in the world that need help. Try to figure out what can your energy fulfill in this world. When you can repurpose your passion in helping others, your passion becomes purpose. Your passion is to you, and the purpose is for others.
Find it and embrace it to help others!
