One reader asked me what I meant by the term, “abortion fraud”. So this piece is going to do that. Some of the material involves adult themes and situations so if you are a snowflake, please find a different sandbox.

Fraud like any kind is a deception made for the purpose of gaining advantage usually money by misrepresentation. In the realm of human reproduction this can take the form of Abortion Fraud.

One way would be to charge someone who is not pregnant for an abortion. One can only guess how often women are put thru that. It’s an apalling thing to even consider. In terms of unnecessary surgery, a gendered breakdown would likely reveal women lead in that department, however, I haven’t researched that yet. I promise to when I finish writing this piece.

Suppose the situation was a little different, what would you call it if a woman finds herself pregnant and can’t be sure who the father is. Say it’s a choice between two or maybe more. This is not so uncommon,if we’re willing to admit it. If she accepts payment for the abortion from one of the possible fathers, well, who knows,but the other guys just lucked out! Abortion Fraud would occur if she collected from each of the possible fathers and pocketed the difference. Now what is it issue hadn’t been pregnant at all,and took the money from the guys anyway? Abortion Fraud. I don’t have the statistics on this, but I have experienced this type of Abortion Fraud in my own little life. She has since apologized and we remain friendly, but she has yet to return the$500 I gave her, and she has not returned money to the other guys, who like me felt responsiblities and shame and guilt. Responsiblity is the ability to respond, shame is a label others try to put on you, and guilt is the proof of conscience. I forgive her because I understand her and you cannot hate what you understand. So this is Abortion Fraud.
