Significance Of Gemstones and Gemstone Therapy

When Mother Earth was formed, she had with her unlimited supplies to keep her children (all living creatures) healthy and happy. From water to crude oil and from rocks to diamonds, she had it all and still does. Yes some of her resources are overexploited and some even used up, but she keeps producing new and keeps loving us unconditionally. One of Mother Earth’s precious gifts to us is Gemstones. In this blog, we discuss some famous Gemstones, their uses, and Gemstone Therapy.

Rose Quartz
The color pink is the color of love and compassion. Rose Quartz is known to help heal heartaches. This stone has a soothing, calming, and pleasant energy. People who have trouble with agitation and anxiety can also wear it to calm down and bring contentment in their lives.

It is advised to wear the Rose Quartz in a necklace, keeping it close to the Heart Chakra as it helps increase the love and heal emotional wounds. Alternatively, you can also wear it as a ring, earrings, or carry it in your purse or wallet.

Pearl
Pearls are formed inside oysters through natural phenomenon and carry the ocean’s positive and happy qualities. Pearls are worn by someone who wants to heal their digestive issues, fertility issues, and heart problems if any. A Pearl can also be worn to treat skin ailments and blood impurities. Also, Pearls have positive effects on a person’s self-confidence and their work life.

It’s best to wear a Pearl ring on the little finger of the right hand, making sure the stone touches the wearer’s skin. Alternatively, a Pearl necklace can also be worn. Make sure you wear the Pearl in silver or gold according to your choice. The best time to wear a Pearl ring is on a Monday between 10 to 11 AM.

Moonstone
A Moonstone is available in white, clear, or rainbow shades and helps in achieving balance. A Moonstone is also used by travelers as a protection talisman. Advisable for people suffering from anxiety, depression, and insomnia, a Moonstone brings about mental and physical stability in a person, enhancing their creativity. Women are especially advised to wear a Moonstone to regulate their menstrual cycles, balance their hormones, and alleviate labor pain. For a Sadhak, a Moonstone can help increase psychic abilities, self-expression, and intuition. This happens because it widens the pineal gland and the middle chakras.

Moonstone is best worn in a silver ring. It has to be worn in the little finger of the right hand on a Monday. The ideal time is between 4 to 7 AM.

Turquoise
A Turquoise works with a person’s Throat Chakra and enhancing the wearer’s communication skills. It absorbs all negativity and cleanses the physical, mental, and energy body or the bearer of all toxins. A Turquoise also helps with grounding a person and helping them understand the realities of life. Protection and blessings are also showered upon the wearer with creativity and peace of mind.

One can wear a Turquoise as a pendant or a ring. In the ring form, ensure that you wear it in the index or the ring finger of your right hand. The time should be on a Thursday morning before Sunrise.
