Almighty blesses us with courage and determination in times of need and loves all of us who are struggling with life a little more than the others. You are God’s special child and hence could make it through, so applaud yourself for the courage and thank the Almighty for His grace.

Now that you are back from rehab and are getting used to the normal life, we understand that there are daily struggles and it takes time to process the routine. If you were a smoker before then every sight of a person smoking may be torturous, same for alcohol and other forms of addiction. It is a lot tougher to get used to the ‘normal’ life after rehab because there are many things that are out of our control here. In rehab we are in a controlled environment that is designed to help us quit, quite opposite from the outside world. This is where the challenge lies.

While getting used to the normal world is difficult, it isn’t impossible. We have compiled a list of tips for you that will help your transition seamless and make the process rather enjoyable.

Spiritual Healing
Spiritual Healing as a process activates your self-healing power, thus enabling you to heal yourself. You can look for a Spiritual Healer or a Guru and seek their help on initiating you into the path of Spiritual Healing. Once you are initiated, the healer or Guru will work with you regularly to activate your self-healing abilities through various methods. To understand the qualities you should look for in a Spiritual Healer, read this blog.

Get that Heart Pumping
Although you went to rehab and got the toxins out of your body and mind, addictions tend to have a longer-lasting impact on a person’s health. It is advisable to go for a little jog or a brisk walk every morning to get that heart pumping and your body generating those endorphins. As a result, you will feel happier and content.

Join Social Groups
Support groups help but listening to people sharing similar problems can also act as a trigger at times. Instead, start going to open mics, reading sessions, or a group that shares the same hobbies as you. The hobby can be anything; the point is to interact with people who share a more positive aspect of your life. Soon the positive will replace the negative and ‘normal’ will become your normal J

Get a Journal
Buy a journal and decorate it with your favorite colors. Then, start writing about your days. What you did, how you felt doing it, your highest and lowest points, and your favorite things about the day. Writing things down helps clear our thoughts and sorts our minds while making beautiful memories.
