Where and How to Use a Ganesha Yantra?
You can use the Ganesha Yantra in the office or home, or both. There are different types of Ganesha Yantras in terms of the elements used to make them. There are certain yantras that can be drawn on leaves as well. However, the most preferred Ganesha Yantras are those made of gold, silver or copper are most preferable as they can be kept permanently in the home or office. This ensures that you can keep them in the daily Prayer rituals and maintain them well.
Make Sure the Ganesha Yantra is placed in the east direction of the home or office, facing west. It gets energised by the rays of the rising sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and emits positive transformational energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry. You may place it near the entrance of home/office/shop or in the living room, reception, study room for the best results. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging, but it is recommended to keep it at a height where meditation by focusing on the centre of the Ganesh Yantra can easily be done.
It is important to note that when you bring a Ganesha Yantra into your home or office, it needs to be infused with energies (Praan Pratishthit). Make sure that you ask a priest to do the same as these rituals are to be performed by priests. Once the Yantra has been established and infused with energies, then you can do the daily Sadhana by yourself.
The Ganesha Yantra Sadhana
We are mentioning the basic steps for the Ganesha Yantra Sadhana here for beginners and once you reach the advanced steps of spirituality, you can ask for the next steps – Ensure you clean it everyday with milk, water, honey, sugar and curd (Panchamrit). This process is called Abhishek. After this, you need to clean the Yantra with water.
Ensure you offer fresh flowers to the Yantra every day.
After you have bathed and cleaned the Yantra and offered fresh flowers to it, you can begin the Sadhana.
There are different types of Ganesha Yantras depending on the form of Lord Ganesha you are worshipping and according to the Yantra you choose, you will chant the Mantra.

Once you have the right Yantra and its corresponding Mantra and are beginning Sadhana, make sure you light a Ghee (clarified butter) lamp in front of the Yantra and then begin chanting the Mantra in numbers advised by your Guru Ji.
