Elephant isn’t here unconditionally. It’s here if we use it.

I’ve devoted much of my life to the notion that you and she and he and they *want* an independent community and mindful platform to use to share, connect in this world dominated by Google/Youtube Facebook/Insta/Whatsapp etc. But maybe I’m wrong.

Most of the many famous folks I’ve known and interviewed never use Elephant. You know who you are, and you don’t really seem to care.

Most of the many non-famous folks I’ve known no longer write on Elephant.

It’s a community, still, with many caring writers and millions of readers, but…unless we decide this is something we want and will use, daily, well.
