I let my loneliness in
I gave Her a seat at my table, offering her a place to share Her story.
Timid & Trembling she began to speak.
What loneliness told me, was that she felt safe being alone.
When she was alone, no one, told her how to feel, how to be, how to think, or how to act.
Loneliness didn’t need to fear rejection, expectations or criticism.
Loneliness new Her role in the void well.
But, Loneliness no longer wanted to wander.
Loneliness knew now, that She was brave, kind, rebellious, and trustworthy.
Loneliness knew her armour could come off
Because
Loneliness no longer feared, Her big emotions hidden in the dark.
Loneliness was ready to
“Let others in, so she could let Herself out”
Loneliness voice grew stronger
&
Discovered
She found
Harmony
She had been Liberated
