God’s goal through out the history has been to get man back into His presence. God is a master planner. You might say but He is God, He should have known not to trust man and to make them to obey Him, but God doesn’t want to voluntarily worship and trust Him and follow His written word and instruction. You know it is really heartbroken, if you know someone is with you simply because of what they can get from you. God knows the heart of Adam and Eve and how far they can go, I am sure that’s why He drove them out of garden of Eden after they betrayed him. If He left them in the garden, they might eat the tree of life and that will destroy everything. You know that is the mistake we make most times, we know as a visionary, that someone is bad for your business and cannot be trusted and yet, for sentimental reasons and fear, we will leave them to destroy your vision. I am not saying you should not forgive but if you are not convinced they are genuinely repentant and their heart is in the right place, you have to guide your vision, it is not personal.

If you read the bible properly, you will see that not once did Adam and Eve asked for forgiveness, they are both giving excuses. Adam blamed God for giving Eve to Him as wife and then blamed the wife for giving him the forbidden fruit, and Even blamed the serpent. How easy is it to excuse our sins by blaming others or circumstances?. But God knows a lot is at stake if He let them stay, so He did not kill them though at that point they are dead spiritually and that changes everything. However, He did not let them go without covering their shame. The Lord made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothe them, He disciplined them because there is always a consequence for our sins. Life in the garden of Eden was like living in heaven. Everything was perfect and if they have not disobeyed God, they would have lived there forever. If they have eaten the tree of life, they would have lived forever and that mean eternal life in a state of sin, and forever hiding from God, and that was not God’s plan for humanity. God send them out of the garden and rebranded.
