The exploration of a body is the exploration of a life.
The exploration of a body is the exploration of the world.
The exploration of a body is timeless, limitless.
It changes as the body changes, throughout a life.
The exploration of a body is a journey into ourselves, into our hearts, into intimacy.
The exploration of a body is a meditation, a prayer.
The exploration of a body is a journey into beauty.
The exploration of a body.
Over the years of massaging, touching, I’ve seen, felt, known, the ways we can do this.
It’s a journey into sensuality.
Not sensuality in the way we mostly use the word, which is connected to sex, to foreplay.
Rather, Sensuality, in one of its fullest expressions.
Engaging a body with all of our senses.
Our eyes, our ears, our noses, our mouths, our hands, our hearts, our feelings.
And more.
Our interest, our curiosity, our fascination.
Our humility and awe.
Our quiet connection to the Divine.
The exploration of a body is an exploration of all of a body.
We tend to get distracted by the genitals, which leads us into the distraction of sex and pleasure.
So often we touch only to have sex, instead of understanding the language of touch, what it says to the deeper places within us. How it speaks to our souls, to our hearts, in a way beyond words.
The exploration of a body may be holding a hand in yours.
Looking at the hand, the outline, the shape.
Not with a story, not with an analysis, not with anything in our eyes, in our presence, simply looking.
At the palms, the fingers, the knuckles, the nails.
The shape, the lines.
Holding the hand to your face.
Inhaling the scent.
Tasting the skin.
Feeling the texture, the skin, the bones.
Holding the hand against your cheek.
Moving the hand, the fingers, the wrist.
Present in yourself.
Awareness in your senses.
Intimate in the moment.
Consider the rest of the body, a landscape of curves, valleys, planes, caves, hills, rises, hollows.
Soft, hard, yielding, warm, cool.
Feet, ankles, legs, thighs, buttocks, belly, back, shoulders, neck, throat, face, ears, hair.
And of course, Yoni and Lingam.
To explore, in a way that’s pleasurable, staying in the touch, the sensation, the senses.
Staying present in the exploration.
Staying present in the moment.
Becoming aware of the feelings within us.
With everything we feel.
It’s a connection, a deep connection with the body, the person.
The blood that flows, the heart that beats, the breath that rises and falls.
The sensation of the skin.
The arousal, the tears, the relaxation, the softening, the opening.
The sharing.
There is a vastness in the body, and detail, so small, intricate, that can enchant us. There is skin that speaks to us, as we touch it, stroke it, caress it, in a conversation.
There’s an offering in this conversation, an offering that’s a way to experience the Divine. For this body is sacred ground.
The exploration of a body is the exploration of a life.
The exploration of a body is the exploration of love.
