Learning to Catch Fish (with a Net)

Photo by Ryutaro Tsukata on Pexels.

You have to be patient. You have to drop berries on the surface of the water.

Spitting into the water sometimes works to draw them over.

Most importantly, you can’t force that net into the water too quickly–because that will just scare them away.

It’s a slow swoop and scoop motion, and the net must already be at least partially in the water.

The moment you catch one, you will know.

The fish will twitch in undulating waves before your awe-struck eyes.
