Many people often think they don’t have time to meditate. They are super busy with their work and in a rush all day. And that is exactly why I am writing this blog post. So that hopefully at the end of this blog post you will have time to meditate.
You create the rush
The phrase ¨I’m in a hurry¨ everyone knows this phrase. But take a look at yourself. Who usually creates this rush? You yourself are the one who creates the rush. After all, it’s your life. So it’s up to you to get rid of this rush too. Of course, that can be difficult when you have a lot to do. But how many things you do are really necessary? And what things really help you to enjoy life?
What things are necessary?
I suspect that you, like many others on this planet, spend a lot of time on social media. And those social media platforms are created in such a way that you can keep scrolling endlessly, and that’s exactly what many people do. Take a look at yourself, and ask yourself: Am I in charge of my phone? Or is the phone in charge of me?¨ Make sure you are in charge of the phone, because that can save you a lot of time. In addition, many people lose a lot of time by thinking about the future unnecessarily. And no matter how much you think about the future, thinking alone won’t change the future. Meditation can be a great way to make sure you don’t worry about the future unnecessarily.
Meditation to enjoy life
If I were to ask you what you really want in this life, the answer will probably be that you want to enjoy life without too much stress. (Click here to read a blog post on how you can reduce stress by meditating) And meditation can help you enjoy life. Meditation makes you aware of the present moment. And in that moment there are wonderful things to experience. You will be more mindful in daily life through meditation and feel the sun when you walk outside. Also you will realize that you are walking and realize that it is a miracle. During the walk you hear the birds chirping and you see a beautiful blue sky. The world is beautiful.
So… No time to meditate?
The haste you are in is sometimes a rush that you maintain yourself. And you can enjoy life through meditation and mindfulness. And everyone wants to enjoy life. So stop what you’re doing right now. And see that you have time to meditate. Also, realize that you can be mindful in everything you do. Seize the day and enjoy it.
