September is coming slowly to take our hands tenderly and lead us back to school. In September for many of us the year actually begins. It’s our New Year’s Eve, the beginning of the school year.
We usually describe it as a transition from summer, vacation and relaxation back to work and school. But this year the word transition seems harsh and separating to me. This year’s September is a prime opportunity to make a fresh start in the current year.
It’s an opportunity to meet with our children and redefine our relationship with them, to really hear them and respond to their needs. To set new goals, personal and collective, in the same way we do on New Year’s Eve.
Do you know which opportunity emerges for us this September, too? To hear and respond to the needs of our inner child. What does this little child need? What does it want from us? Let’s decide to give it the chance to speak to us sincerely. Listening to our inner child equals hearing all the children in the world. In that way we reclaim our childlikeness and we open our hearts.
I wish this September we get guidance to head into the depths of our existence, to hug our inner child and all the children in the world along with it. I wish this Autumn, before we go into Winter, that we keep the warmth and the everlasting light of August in our hearts. Flying start to all of us…
