Everyone loves noodles. Whether its stir-fry or ramen, there’s not a single person who isn’t drooling at just the thought of it right now. People love having instant ramen because of how easy and convenient it is. But it’s just not that healthy.
I know what you’re thinking. “I don’t have the time to actually make noodles on my own.” Well, look no further. I created a 15 minute easy-to-make healthy wheat noodles.
This recipe is customizable to how YOU want it to be. Don’t like one of the veggies in the recipe? Substitute it out for something else. Want to add some beef in your noodles? Then do it. This recipe is all about making it to your liking.
Without any further ado, let’s get into this recipe!!!
Ingredients –
– Whole wheat noodles – 300 grams
– Onions – 1 medium sized sliced
– Garlic cloves – 2 medium sized ones chopped
– Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
– Salt – a pinch of it
– Black pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon of it
– Bell Peppers – (Any color) 100 grams sliced
-Carrots – 50 grams chopped
-Cabbage – 50 grams chopped
-Schezwan Sauce – (Any sauce of your liking) 3-4 tablespoons
-Dark Soy Sauce – 1 teaspoon
-(OPTIONAL) Chicken Keema (Minced Meat)– 200 grams
-Spring Onions – Garnishing
How to Make –
- Boil the noodles for 5-7 minutes and then drain it.
- Add a drop of oil for the noodles to avoid sticking and a pinch of salt
- In a separate pan, start to medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Once hot, add the chopped garlic cloves to the pan and keep frying.
- Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, carrots, and cabbage.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
- It’s very important to have everything ready and add them immediately after this.
- Add the wheat noodles, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and schezwan sauce.
- Continue stirring for 1 minute.
- I added Chicken Keema to this. You can add any meat you prefer (shrimp, beef, etc.)
- Mix well, garnish with spring onions, and serve while hot.
And that’s it!! In 9 simple steps, you can have the noodles of your liking with barely any work. No more of those instant noodles and let’s start eating healthy!!!
