Can you feel Humanity calling?
Stay still, close your eyes and listen with your heart. Do you hear a whisper?
If you are feeling some discontentment, uneasiness, or emptiness in your being, you are being called to gather your powers, awaken them and walk in your world with the shoes your soul signed up to wear. This is a call from the Divine Feminine.
We have been talking about women’s empowerment for some time now. However, everyone woman was born fully empowered from the beginning of times. Religion and social structures influenced how men and women tread their values and beliefs about women and what they should be, do or have, despite their natural ways of being.
Women have nine natural powers that have been considered weaknesses for ages. Our natural way of being, the way we are when we let go of meeting the expectations written for women by fearful old men of the past, we are able to self-accept, feel our emotions freely, think congruently, and take actions that improve the world not only for women but for everyone. But women’s powers have been suppressed.
There has been a prolonged imbalance between women’s and men’s powers that are being corrected. Look at the symbol Yin/Yang, which represents the Universe. Yin cannot be larger than Yang, and Yang cannot be larger than Yin. As we witness today, Yin -the feminine energy, has to expand and will do so gradually when Yang- the masculine energy, becomes larger. The feminine energy has to grow so there is balance. That’s why we see more women changing careers, walking away from what doesn’t serve them, making strong decisions, and sticking their necks out in protest, even if it means death.
Every woman is born with powers that carry a level of energy in their body. These energy centers have unlimited potential when balanced and exercised. On the other hand, these centers can be out of balance or diminished when overused, ignored, or shot down by our choices and the environments we live in. The most common way women give their power away is by not knowing they have them.
Ancient Sanskrit described these energy centers centuries ago, first introduced in India between 1500 and 500 BC in the oldest text called the Vedas. They are also called chakras or wheels of life. Many people today have heard of the chakras of the body. Still, we don’t associate them with improving our personal power and impacting the overall quality of our life.
Each of the Nine Powers is connected with one of the Seven Chakras of the body. We have Nine Powers and only Seven Chakras because three of the powers are linked to the Heart Center Chakra. There are three lower energy centers -the Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus – and four higher centers- the Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown Centers.
- The Power of Nurturing, born in the first Chakra- the Root Chakra, is responsible for self-care, motherhood, money, and, most importantly, guiding us to become our own mothers. Nurturing others was and still is considered a weakness, but nurtured people don’t create chaos.
- The Power of Creativity, born in the second Chakra- the Sacral Chakra, is responsible for creativity, inspiration, and creating a life we want to live. Unfortunately, women were long considered not to be creative. People proved their beliefs by showing the vast contributions of men. However, too many women had to impersonate men to be heard, their ideas were stolen, and after so much influence, women began to believe.
- The Power of Confidence, born in the third Chakra- the Solar Plexus Chakra, is responsible for the actions we are called to take in the world. I find this power to be the most underutilized power in women because authority figures commended women to take an invisible place in society. Also, women are likely to imitate men and use the Will-Power instead of the Self-Trust, which is more natural to us.
- The Power of Compassion, born in the fourth Chakra- the Heart Chakra, is responsible for the ability to be centered in our connection with ourselves, other people, and the experiences through our feelings. This power reminds us that “We are One” and helps us build self-love, which we need to live extraordinary lives.
- The Power of Authenticity, born in the fifth Chakra- the Throat Chakra, is responsible for the ability to express our true selves. It’s the power that frees us from our fears and doubts and helps us embrace our truth. Women’s authentic self is needed in homes, schools, business, government, and religious institutions.
- The Power of Intuition is my favorite power. I like to think that the Creator took a long and deep breath, and on the exhale, She gave women the Power of Intuition. Born in the six Chakra- the Third Eye give us the ability to interpret energy, supplying the wisdom we can’t explain. Considered to be very woo-woo, Intuition has been responsible for incredible business deals, saving lives, and being at the right place and at the right time.
- The Power of Beauty, born in the seventh Chakra- the Crown Chakra, has nothing to do with our exterior beauty. Instead, this power is responsible for how we see ourselves and can recognize our divine beauty, our beautiful surroundings, and what we do with our essence, also called purpose.
- The Power of Generosity is born in the fourth Chakra- the minor Heart Chakra located in the palm of our dominant hand. It’s responsible for giving to others without hurting ourselves and allowing others to be generous with us.
- The Power of Healing is also born in the fourth Chakra- the small Heart Chakra located in the palm of our non-dominant hand. It’s responsible for the ability to heal ourselves and others. Although not everyone is called to be in the medical or healing profession, this power reminds us that we have this intelligence inside us that knows how to heal a cut, eliminate a cold, and heal burns without our command. Also, the Power of Healing calls us to heal the world. You are not asked to go to war zones and persuade people to stop fighting; it just starts in your home by healing unprocessed emotions beginning with yours.
When women are well, everyone around them is well.
So the work is within. There is an energy, the Divine Feminine, that is calling you to:
- Become your own mother.
- Create your life with intention.
- Strengthen your confidence.
- Feel self-compassion.
- Release your authentic self.
- Trust your Intuition.
- See the beauty in yourself.
- Be generous to receive.
- Heal yourself.
- Your life is the answer to the calling
