Are you curious about the power of crystal healing and what they can do for you? While there are crystal kits available, there is something special about being able to pick out your own crystals individually to create your own chakra healing set.

Most kits that are pre-packaged include one crystal for the first seven chakras, and sometimes include a selenite crystal stick, palo santo, or sage bundle to clear and charge crystals after they have been used. Today, I will be providing you with some basic chakra function information, multiple stone options that I believe are the best for each chakra, are wallet-friendly, and easy to find. You may choose to refer back to the Chakra To Ya blog from last week, “A Beginner’s Guide To Buying Healing Crystals,” where I provide helpful tips on what to look for and determine if a crystal is best for you.

Chakra Starter Kit– Experiment by selecting one crystal from each chakra to build your personalized healing set. You may choose to hold a crystal in your hand to see how it resonates with your vibration.

Root Chakra:

Chakra Location: Base of the spine

Chakra Color: Red

Chakra Function: Grounding, security, prosperity, Earth energy

Sacral Chakra:

Chakra Location: Between the hips a few inches below the navel

Chakra Color: Orange

Chakra Function: Creativity, passion, sex drive, relationships

Solar Plexus Chakra:

Chakra Location: Center of the torso

Chakra Kit Must-Haves:

I highly suggest purchasing a selenite stick with a flat surface, which can assist you in keeping your crystals free from negative energy after use. Selenite has the ability to amplify the healing energy of crystals, in addition to aligning all the chakras. I also suggest purchasing sage or palo santo, (a type of wood native of Peru), which you can use to clear the crystals and your aura of any lingering lower vibrational energy. This process is called smudging. Be sure to keep a window open so the smoke and energy has somewhere to go, and never weft your hand in the smoke after clearing the crystals or your energy. Using your hand to move the smoke around is like sticking your hand in the negative energy that you just cleared. If you choose to purchase palo santo, make sure it is coming from a company that ethically harvests the wood.
