We live in a world where everything has to be bigger, faster and stronger – all the time.
We rush around, moving from one task and goal to the next.
The problem is, our souls don’t work like that.
Our souls exist outside of the boundaries of time and space as we know them and are
so much more expansive than we can comprehend.
We find ourselves in a place where even soul, spirituality, and wellness work has become crammed into an hour here and there, a five-step model or the latest must-do practice.
Don’t get me wrong, you can get so much from an hour with your Reiki healer or 10 minutes on Insight Timer every day.
But…
There’s so much more you can discover, so much deeper you can go, if you give yourself the space for integration.
That space is less regimented; it involves allowing yourself a bit of room to process.
It’s about regularly planning time and space for yourself.
That way, if something comes up, you can really dive into it, rather than rushing on to the next thing.
You can sit down with your journal, meditate, talk with a professional, or whatever works for you.
When you don’t do that, you find yourself feeling frustrated, because you’re not making the “progress” you think you should.
You’re doing all the readings, sessions, and classes, and everyone else seems to be moving forward, but you worry you’re being left behind.
It feels like your soul isn’t talking to you…
Have you ever felt that?
I have. And what I’ve learned, often is that those times come when I’m not giving my soul enough space and time to percolate.
I know, it’s frickin’ hard.
But when you don’t give yourself the opportunity for integration and don’t allow that energetic openness, you find the universe takes over – often manifesting in you feeling poorly, forcing you to take downtime.
As a collective, we’ve been baby-stepping into soul work. We’ve been popping rose quartz crystals in our bras, and writing affirmations.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s huge power in those things nothing wrong with that.
Right now, it’s also about going deeper into reembracing the power and wisdom that’s in your soul.
To do that, give yourself space and time to root into it.
Only then, can the power – your power – percolate and alchemise within you, and turn into something really beautiful.
That integration will look different for all of us. Hell, it will look different from week to week and day to day for any of us individually. However, it really does start by giving ourselves the space to simply allow that deep wisdom and power of our Souls to be heard and felt; and then offering up some time in which we have nothing more to do than let that information and energy integrate within us.
If you feel as though you need some support with that – or maybe even some insight that can support your next steps, that’s exactly the work I do through Soul Support, a blend of talking therapies and energy work; and through Soul Integration Readings – a personal connection experience I’m told is both mind-blowing and life changing!
