This last month the energy in our world has been wild. I kept saying: when the Sun and Jupiter hang out together (this happens once a year) without supervision – there will be balls of energy flying around. For some of us it equals great efforts finally being fulfilled. For others there is static on the air waves, confusion with too much to deal with.
I liked it. I had so many opportunities to share my love for Astrology and all things spiritual. I even spent Easter (for the very first time) in Church.
My double Aries son was baptized under this solar cycle. Through his whole 30 years I have learned so much from him. Now, more than ever. We pray together, we share books, we talk and it’s pretty much all about Christ. If you would have told me that my son would find Christ in his spiritual practice and so much more – I would have said, “No way!”
Why? Because for almost a decade he was married to an atheist. This colored his view, too. And yes, as most parents do, I knew there was so much waiting for him. He was a spiritual person who was a great husband, doing the compromise dance. He matched her willingly. Until…hello, welcome Saturn return: it arrived, and quite literally within one month of Saturn entering Aquarius: EVERYTHING changed.
I loved her. I still love her. And, I accept change. Let’s hear it for Astrology. Like clockwork, the ringed planet came to our house and in no time at all, what once was – was no more. It’s almost unbelievable. How does life do that – change things so quickly?
My son’s spiritual side arrived. With this Jupiter energy in his sign of Aries he has been on fire. I do not think I have seen him smile this much, get so excited about studying and learning. It’s contagious, the story of Christ and his resurrection.
It doesn’t matter what we think as far as our opinions of religion or Christ. What matters, said the Astrologer, is that everyone be allowed to find their way to God with no restrictions. Find your inner voice and let the dialogue begin.
We had two New Moons in Aries this season. Two chances to find out if the chi in your life is having its way with you. This one is called a Black New Moon. Saturn return is one thing; change will come to your house in this season whether you like it or not. However, this New Moon coupled with Jupiter energy is not a sure thing. It comes with a question: are you on fire?
What drives your ship? Friendship. Relationship? Who is in charge of your depth and the decisions you make? Almost ten years my son spent in a relationship that was for most part, solid and so stabilizing: then came the day to let go. How about you: are you being yourself? Are you following your own inner voice? How would you know if you are not on the right street?
If you did not feel the big waves that went through our world the last few weeks… If you are not feeling connected to yourself or your purpose… If you are lonely or too overwhelmed…let us help you.
