Chicken Apple Sauage Fried Rice

1 cup of White rice

2 Aidell’s Chicken Apple Sausages

1 bell pepper

½ onion

½ avocado

2 teaspoons of garlic powder

3 teaspoons of crunchy sesame garlic seasoning

1 teaspoon of umami mushroom seasoning

2 teaspoons of salt and pepper

Drizzles of sesame oil

Soy sauce

Lemon Juice

Start by washing the white rice 4-5 times. Swish around warm water in the bowl and drain out, repeat 4-5 times. After washing, remove all the water and add 1 ¼ cups of water, either in a rice cooker or pot on the stove.

If you are using a pot on the stove, cover the rice over low-medium heat until water is absorbed and the rice is fluffy.

Dice the bell pepper and the onion.

When the rice is close to being done, dice the bell pepper, the onion, and the avocado. Then, put a drizzle of sesame oil in a pan with your 2 sausages on medium-to-high heat. Rotate the sausages as each side browns. When all sides are seared, remove from the pan and cut into bite-sized pieces.

In the same pan, add the cooked and cut sausages, diced bell peppers, avocado, onion, and garlic powder, crunchy sesame garlic seasoning, umami mushroom seasoning, salt, and pepper. Fold everything together over medium heat. When the pieces of sausage, peppers, onions, and avocado are browned slightly.

Once everything is cooked together, slowly begin to fold in all the rice and add soy sauce to taste.

When everything is done and combined, finish off with a squeeze of lemon juice.

Enjoy!!

Happy Eating!
