I say this at least three times per day.

I say it to people who have lost everything.

I say it to people who are in pain.

I say it to myself.

Because I know how all of those things feel, wholeheartedly.

Life begins to get lost in the shuffle when you start believing you can control anything at all, other than how you react.

It’s simple, really.

Let it be.

Let them.

Let go.

We make it complicated, because we are selfish, and we are afraid.

I am a dreamer. a nurturer. a selfish brat. a hard worker. a go getter. a worrier. a free spirit. a people pleaser. a human who believes stupidly that she can save the world.

Laughable, really.

Let me.

You are similar, but stronger.

I will let you.

Destruction is stronger than all of that combined.

Let it be.

The end product will be bliss-full evolution. Just wait.

Let the time pass.

Let the worry dissipate.

Let happiness in.

Into you, into me.

However it appears.

Just let it.

Leave it in the now. Because the now is all we have.

This moment.

This tribe.

This tangible feeling as you rub your fingertips together.

This is it.

Evolution shall only enter once you relinquish control over this moment.

For you. For me.

Wander. Get lost. Indulge.

And you will let me, because you love me.

And I believe in the power of love.

God is love.

God is destruction.

God is evolution.

God is you.

God is me.

Someone once asked me what I believe in..and the only answer I could come up with at that time was: love. and change.

I was 20.

In 21 years, that answer has not changed. Not at all.

So, as hard as it may get sometimes…. I work on the “letting” part.
