Enlightenment means spiritual awakening that leads to freedom from worldly suffering and bondage. Enlightenment happens when we realize ‘who am I’.
While traditionally, one tries to achieve it by actively seeking i.e. one does meditation, fasting, penance and even renounces family, money, and the world and performs various rigorous austerities in order to attain enlightenment; Akram Vignan, on the other hand, offers a direct and easy way, and that is to attain enlightenment effortlessly, directly with the grace of a realised spiritual Master (Gnani Purush), who is an enlightened being and is able to enlighten others as well.
On the path of Akram Vignan, in order to be enlightened, the seeker need not renounce the world or their family, need not meditate for prolonged periods, nor does one need to perform arduous spiritual practices. The seeker merely needs to come in contact with a Gnani. So in Akram Vignan, even if one is not actively seeking it, one is able to attain enlightenment through the grace of a Gnani.
Through Akram Vignan, enlightenment is attained in just 2 hours, when in the presence of the living Gnani, he surrenders himself to receive the grace, and where the Gnan burns the deluding karma obstructing the light of the Soul, that helps enlighten the Soul. As the veils of ignorance are lifted, one tastes the experience of the Soul, the real Self. As one realizes ‘I am a pure Soul’ (Self-Realization), they experience a deep spiritual awakening that ultimately leads one to liberation from the cycles of birth and death.
Soul is an abode of eternal bliss. Therefore, on realizing one’s true nature (as the Soul), one discovers a profound sense of liberation from unhappiness. This enduring bliss of the Self, known as Atma, continues to remain forever after enlightenment, even amidst the challenging circumstances and suffering in life.
The Soul is intrinsically pure, eternal, and blissful, but the veils of ignorance cover this awareness, leading to worldly sufferings, bondage and the continuous cycles of rebirths. Upon the attainment of the Soul (Self-Realization), the right understanding of ‘who am I’ sets in at once, and gradually as the experience of the Soul increases, so does the eternal bliss that lies within.
So come, let’s go to Gnani and get onto the path to enlightenment. To know more on this, you amy visit https://www.dadabhagwan.org/self-realization/
