Moon in Scorpio, Sun in Scorpio
Double Scorpio sky: the conversation of this blog addresses the topic of transformation; a word that is bandied about when we think of Scorpio. What does the word “transformation” even mean? A radical change that rearranges everything – like when? Like now. It’s being felt and expressed everywhere, all over the world. This New Moon is not an easy one, but it’s necessary. We are being asked to face the parts of reality we don’t like to face – war and death. Ouch.
Scorpio is the part in us that feels desire – we fall in love, kiss, make babies, and then we are parents. Hello, sexual energy that is so powerful we could not resist the urge to procreate – and then life changed. The time we found out a secret later in life – who we thought was our family, father/mother was not, and we discovered we were adopted or that father/mother had a child with someone else and we have a half-sibling.
How about the ending of a relationship you thought was forever – until death arrives or they leave for another person? Not a word occurred as the door closed. When a sibling/friend/family member suddenly dies with no warning, an accident, or a sudden illness – everything is now different and will be for the rest of your life. Transformation happens with or without our acceptance. (All of these are from my practice of working with souls looking for healing.)
I have heard so many stories in my career of these kinds of surprise factors that elicit that word – transformation. It can go two ways: someone grieves, changes, and eventually, with time, there is beauty on the other side. There is a surrender to the process. Or, someone’s heart breaks, it’s an ending, there is a loss of faith, and a decision is made to never open again.
We are under a double Scorpio sky. This is our chance to change, to transform. What we need under this intense world stage we are all dancing on – is change. We are in the middle of a massive global transformation that affects all of us collectively and individually. Change is not easy, but it’s a necessary part of life, for without change, there is no growth, no reflection, no way to remedy the ills we’ve created. Easy to say: so hard to feel into.
I am here to invite you to consider rewriting your story. Have you gotten stuck? Are you grieving for this world? I have found that if I stay with the sadness, if I open up to the pain and share it, if I cry every day for this world – I stay healthy. I let the transformational energies that are calling our name have their way with me. I allow myself to go deep, to feel intensely, to acknowledge the pain. I have surrendered to this world whether I like it or not. I happen to love Scorpios. I love their intensity and their way of testing us: can you love me now? Scorpio is an amazing teacher.
I’m here to assist you to do your best to feel your feelings and to be real about them. To stay on top of the broken parts of your psyche and ask yourself: have I transformed them? Have I let myself go deep into healing, or did I get stopped by the pain?
Every day I cry. I let myself feel. I allow my pain body to release, especially under this double Scorpio sky. Join me under this New Moon and do it for the human race: we cannot stop now. We are in a marathon to see if we can keep our hearts open even when it hurts. See you there.
