Today, Greeks go to the polls to vote in an emergency referendum on the austerity measures being imposed on them by the EU Troika as part of their bailout agreement.
This is a devastating and terrifying time for the Greeks as their country is on its knees. In order to get through this period and make decisions that are in the longterm interest of the welfare of all of the people, the Greeks need hope for their future, trust in the politicians to do right by them and courage to stand together.
As a bystander, I feel helpless. I would like to give the people of Greece a massive hug and send them some love. So, I decided to do that energetically and I’d be honored if you would join me.
To the People of Greece:
May you be filled with courage and strength on this difficult day.
May this courage and strength take up residence in your body and soul, making it possible to get through every tomorrow which this difficult time brings you.
May you find a sense of peace despite the turbulence of your world right now.
May you also find hope and faith for a better future than your current present and your recent past have delivered you.
May you have faith in yourself, your family, your neighbours and your leaders—to know what the right thing is and to see it through.
May you be empowered, through a means that no-one yet sees, to turn the fate of your country around.
May you be well.
May you be happy.
May you be peaceful.
May you be loved.
