Waterfall.

Beating down like a
waterfall
cleansing every inch,
washing away
the past.

Tears fall
dropping down
further from the emptiness
residing in her eyes.

Skin raw,
red
calloused.
Soak in clean water,
take away mistakes,
bring a new day.

Brisk air engulfs
the soaked body…
soon to be dried.
A warm towel in hand.
