Fragile.
Like wires frayed. Thin and red. Desperately trying to connect for sound. But there’s only…static.
Listen intently.
From the noise comes
Rhythm.
This is non-conventional.
Even
Unorthodox.
How can you hear music
from such a mess?
These wires reaching, clinging
with what little they have left.
And so it is, with human hearts.
Connections, in all manner of the word.
Sometimes it gets messy
And we’re lost in the static
But if you listen hard, once more,
You can still hear those beats.
Tiny flow of energy
Holding space
Just like you and I.
Reach.
Let the space between the wires breathe, but do not disconnect.
Without static, there would be no rhythm.
And no appreciation—
When the silence is so sweet.
