Peace.
It’s taken over my mind
My thoughts
My actions
My words and reactions
Has me in complete
satisfaction.

Peace.
In the blink of an eye
all of the stress left
and has been replaced
by a place
of indescribable rest.

Peace.
As I’ve studied
this word
and studied
God’s word
I learned in
Phillipians
4:6 and 7
that we should
look to heaven
and pray for
God’s peace
which surpasses all
understanding.

Peace.
It’s all around us
It’s in nature
Being alone
It’s in deep conversations
with those people
who feel like home
It’s laying under the stars
or searching for the moon
It’s the smell of newborn babies
we stare at and swoon
It’s bodies of water
It’s logs on the fire
It’s hearing your name said
by the man you admire
It’s a loving embrace
Something you can’t
erase or trace.

Peace.
I’ll forever seek it
be it
give it
ask for it
and be ready
to receive it
and to release
anything and anyone
who takes me
from that space.

Peace.
It’s taken over my life.
Makes me feel light
and makes me exude light
It’s who I want to be
and what I want to give
I know my purpose
is to spread
peace and love
for as long as I live.
Peace.
