Peace is the state of contentment
an inner satisfaction of enough
where the purity of the moment
flows open through you
and you, like a rock
in the middle of the pool of anything
captivated by that stateless tranquility
experience the transience of the changing world
happy to exchange it for the constant thing
peace
nourishing and immovable
filling and emptying of need
peace.
Peace is the light-footed skip of play
Peace is the evolving moment of creative flow
Peace is the view
from the tower of observation
and the curiosity
to newly witness experience
Peace is the exploration
of the heart’s true nature
Peace is surrendering
to the free fall through unknown doors
Peace is the adventure
of discovering without expectation
Peace is the liberation
from anything that is not now
Peace is listening to life
wrapped tightly
in the safety blanket of complete existence
Peace is the love that flows
unaware of itself
Peace is the freedom from the inner constraints:
requirement
belief
expectation
patterns of thought that run so frequent
they have begun to create grooves of judgement
valleys forged by your own mental interpretations
of adopted ideas
Peace is living not by inherited experience
that you believe
but have not yet come to know,
but existing in your experience
and creating truth in your own words
Peace is the joy of playing
from the seat of an inner quiet
and letting your feet dance
with the music that moves you
Peace is the honesty of recognizing need
and the freedom to pursue it
Peace is the quiet wake that follows difficulty
that pierces holes of truth
through the drama of struggle
Peace is the awareness that comes
after thoughts and emotion have gone
the clarity of knowing
without understanding
Peace is the acceptance
of the inner responsibility
to maintain it.
