My only goal in life is to feel that love, in me, through me, around me. To truly understand that feeling of pure love. Pure. Love that transcends all other considerations and sees clearly that we are all one, all manifestations of the same source and energy and in that moment of knowing there is nothing but joy and forgiveness. To hold onto that awareness when I look on any other being to see their divinity. This is my prayer.

What is your prayer? How do you experience pure love in your life?

I credit yoga for bringing me closer to that realization, the first step was self love and as I grow closer to that it creates a greater patience and love for those around me. I continue to practice…continue to work towards that understanding.

One of the greatest realizations has been learning that achieving that state doesn’t have to come at the exclusion of other earthly pursuits, as Arjuna discovers in the gita…it’s not about removing the earthly endeavors but living them fully and well. Love doesn’t happen in a vacuum but rather in the connection with the world. So we laugh, we explore, we play, we work, we argue and we discover and in this we find love.
