Remember When We Were …Lost
I miss your eyes;
That wanting…hungry look
That interrupted my thoughts
That took my breath away.
Remember when we were …lost…
I miss your smile and laughter;
The twinkle in your blue, blue eyes…
The dimple in your cheek, the curl of your lips
The dryness of your humor, the repartee
Remember when we were…lost…
I miss the cool grass;
The gentle breeze caressing our bodies…
The warmth of the sun on our faces
The tenderness of youth and innocence
Remember when we were… lost…
I miss your touch;
The lingering of your fingers and lips on my neck…
I miss your warm breath on the nape of my neck
Your tongue and lips exciting my breasts
Remember when we were….lost…
I miss your warmth;
When I first felt your warm flesh against my own
When I arched my back to your feverish, wet kisses…
The feeling of you inside me, making us one
Remember when we were…. lost…
We are older now;
But my lips and my body
And my skin still remembers…
The magic of it, the peace of it
Remember when we were… lost…lost in each other.
