It’s funny when you grow up. You care less about what anyone thinks about you. You care more about what you think of yourself. Shedding layers and releasing things you once thought you could never live without. It’s a trip really….
Friends become strangers, strangers become friends. Realizing that all of your memories are scripted into your book of life. Chapters closing, new ones beginning. Some painted with such sharp clean cut brush strokes, others reflecting the jagged edges and messiness of not staying between the lines. All beautiful pages of what brought you exactly to this second, this breath, this moment, and this person you are today.
Learning and gaining a better understanding of what is most important, and not letting the weight of shitty people and a fucked up slab of corporate concrete deter you from what you believe in. It’s a challenge with so much opinion and conformity pushed down your throat from every direction.
Planting intentions for yourself and setting boundaries that are conducive to your growth.
Saying prayers for those you love and even for those who arent on your path any longer. Because that’s what you do. You send out love. No questions, no expectations.
Winging it every step of the way. Because no one really knows what the fuck they are doing. But at least you keep it real.
