ASMR – Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
The art of triggers whether they be visual or Audible,
I listen to a lot of ASMR performers on YouTube,
These help me relax during bad anxiety attacks and also help me calm down when it comes to over thinking.
My Triggers result is Scratching , Whispering and soft speaking, some performers do roleplays such as hair stylists, cosplays and more, but they all seem to keep me relaxed, over 13 million people listen to ASMR but it still is considered a mystery on how it actually works and in the honesty of it, I am also clueless about how it works, all I do know is how it effects me on a personal level. But I will do my best to give a general explanation on a personal basis.
I first came into listen to ASMR about a year ago after my medication ran out, I was in an incredibly bad place and needed to find something to relax, I originally had a meditation soundtrack on that was doing OK, I had my eyes closed and without even a warning a soft spoken whisper came through my headphones, it sent a happy chill down my spine, as I opened my eyes to see what was on, it was just a woman talking but the manner in which she was speaking was soft and soothing, so I watched more, I have been watching this ASMRtist now for coming up to a year and more people have been added to the mix.
But what is it about this Soft Speaking that send soothing chills down my spine that is so powerful on a personal note.
In fact at the moment of writing this Article, I am Listening to Taylor Darling -ASMR Blackhead removal Spa.
It is a powerful feeling however not everyone can enjoy it, not everyone can even stand it, I always wonder if the reason why I find it relaxing is down to me being Autistic.
I would suggest giving it a listen and seeing what you think.
But for some reason to me It is Powerful
