There are so many secrets people keep. The secret I want to bust wide open this morning is that:

“Loneliness HURTS”!

It’s that pain in your heart when you wake up from a nice dream, only to realize no one shares the bed beside you. No one is in the shower. No one will bring you coffee, a bagel or a kiss. You can loose 15 minutes making angels out of your flannel sheets wondering what you every did so bad to deserve this. No epiphany comes.

Only silence.

This morning.

This afternoon.

Tonight.
