- Carrots:

Growing Carrots in Container: If you sow carrots in containers go for shorter varieties of them like Thumbelina or Danevers half long. You should take at least 12 inches deep pot and sow them two or three inches apart from each other. And if you grow them in the yard then you don’t have to worry about space.
Things you need to watch out: Only one thing you need to be careful about is that, harvest them at the perfect size. If you harvest them in small size you will get the testiest carrots. But if you leave them in ground for too long, those will be overly large and woody. You also need to keep them evenly moist. If the soil is too dry the carrots will be somewhat bitter and fibrous.
