Move over Google and Blackle. There’s a new search engine in town, and they’re up to some good. Ecoogler is a (relatively) new search engine on a mission: to reforest the Amazon.
Using Yahoo’s technology, Ecoogler promises to plant a tree in the Amazon rainforest for every 10,000 searches with its site. To date, they’ve planted 2,274 trees, with 8,632 searches to go before the next tree. What are you waiting for? Bookmark ’em, and…I know it’s hard…but get crazy and use someone other than Google, the planet will thank you.
