An Auto-Response Message That Recruiters Must Send to Applicants.

Let me share my experience:

When I apply for a job, one of two things happen:

Either I get a boring “we’ve received your application and we will contact you soon.”

OR

Nothing. Crickets. Eternal Silence.

Leave me wondering if my application hit the hiring manager’s Inbox.

And I believe it happens most of the job applicants, right?

How can recruiters and hiring managers make the process more fun and engaging and make the candidate happy?

Just a quick auto-response message.

Wondering what it is?

It’s just a small, fun, and auto-response message to make the candidates feel like a conversation starter even before coming to the interview.

I created a message template that you can customize according to you and make it your own:

Voila! We’ve received your job application. And this is an automatic message, but we’re thrilled that you’d be interested in working for [Your Company Name].

It may take one week or ten days (If we chose lunch over reviewing your application). And we can guarantee you that a real human being will review your application after having a lot of coffee and snacks.

No matter if we select your application or not, you’ll hear from us. It’s our policy.

If you forgot to tell anything in your application, simply hit reply and tell us now.

I’ll shut up now and one real human being will get back to you after reviewing your application.

It was nice talking to you.

Thanks,

PS. Follow our LinkedIn page for our future updates and career opportunities.

It’s just an example, you can customize it or take inspiration to create your own. Let the candidates know that you care about their time and effort.

Two Major Benefits of This Message:

  • It improves your recruitment process and gives a personalized experience to candidates.
  • This can be your first step to verify the applicants’ information (email and other info).

“Nothing we do is more important than hiring people. At the end of the day, you bet on people, not strategies.” -Lawrence Bossidy
