When I taught yoga classes and workshops I often spoke of sowing seeds of intention. This actually stems from farming communities choosing the new moon for planting certain seeds when the soil is dark and fertile, indicating a powerful time for growth, and transformation.
The new moon is a time of death, rebirth, and new beginnings. It’s a potent time to connect deeply with the Earth, Source, and our Soul. It’s an invitation to tap into our inner wisdom.
In new moon circle’s we say that it’s an ideal time to listen to the whispers of our soul, and plant our own seeds of intention that we want to see grow in our life.
The spark that begins within each one of us, holds the power to bring a New Earth into being. Our intention becomes a catalyst for change, when we align with the energy of the New Moon.
We can do this by:
Connecting, reflecting, and bringing awareness to our personal truth.
Letting go of what is no longer serving us, and creating space for something new.
Planting our seeds of intention.
Watering the soil and taking action.
Living in integrity with the intention.
Witnessing the seeds sprout, and grow.
Each new moon is a magical opportunity for us to continue to connect, define, and refine what we want, and move toward it!
This weekend we welcome the Summer Solstice, and the new moon.
Let’s harness the potent power of the moon to create what we want to see in the world. We can plant our seeds, watch them grow, and bring a New Earth into being together. What seeds will you sow?
