I didn’t even like Miley Cyrus before this video.

Apparently, she did a whole series of “Backyard Sessions,” and honestly, I was shocked by how good they are! Rather than her typical performances filled with (bluntly put: mediocre) pop songs, here she covers classics.

I’m a 90s kid, so yes, I liked Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys, but I’ve always liked Fleetwood Mac and other oldies more.

These backyard ditties gave her a down-to-earth vibe, and it genuinely made me rethink my feelings about her as an artist. She’s way more talented than I ever expected.

This song has been covered by many household names over the years (Nina Simone being a favorite of mine). Needless to say, this song is obviously one of the greats. Snaps, claps, and all the love to Miley—she absolutely crushes it.
