Weekend Warrior

It’s here and basically over, you know what I’m referring to: the weekend. I feel like from Friday afternoon when I clocked out til now, it’s gone by way too fast. As someone who’s always on the go at this point, there truly isn’t enough hrs in the day. I need to fit everything I need to do, in the hrs that I’m awake. Even when I’m asleep I feel my mind clicking away. I’ve been known to wake up in the middle of the night and take notes on my phone. Haha, the mind of a creator never truly shuts down.

With that comes the responsibility that just because the 9-5 you work comes with every other weekend, that your business doesn’t stop. You have to be able to really put that into focus or you will get lost . One thing that I’m learning is, that no matter how much knowledge I have, there is always room to take more in. Never think that you have all of the answers. There are people out there who are there to help you, have done this before and will help you focus on the goal.

Having as much as I have on my plate right now, it means multi tasking and then some. I have very limited times on my hands, where I can have a business meeting, or a call. Everything must work in sync to meet the needs of all parties involved. Personally, I wish there were more hours in the day, but alas 24 is the max I’m working with. Showing up to a Zoom meeting isn’t the best thing to do, especially when there is a time difference. Always show up your best and work from there.

Another thing I want to talk about is my return to college, being something other than the Caf girl. Obviously if you are reading this, you know I am already, always have been. I want to first focus on being a phlebotomist, and work my way from that. The workings of the lab itself excite me, I’ve never felt that type of focus before. The importance of that job, of everyone in that department works like a well oiled machine. Everyone has their own part of the mystery that is a diagnosis and the rush to get answers, to patients and doctors. It’s a never ending cycle of a ticking clock, not always on your own time but others as well. The focus and drive of each them, left me in awe.

My secondary is to minor in English, mostly the writing aspect. I would like to fine tune what I’m doing now and make it more polished. That way in the future when I publish more, I can be taken as a more professional version of what I’m doing now. Re tooling and taking on difference concepts of writings, styles and contemporary versions, is what makes a good writer, great. Nothing that will be done takes away from what I’ve done here, if anything it gives me the tools to build a stronger site. Taaury37, like myself is always evolving, tip toeing on the cusp of something greater.

In closing, the takeaway here is always be teachable. Everything in life is a lesson, it’s the nuggets we take away. We don’t always want to rely on that job, that we aren’t making a career feel more important. If possible try to see what inside of that heart and live the dream that you are meant to. Life is hard, and so is being unfulfilled, you want to do what your mind dreams of. Remember that no matter how small that blip on the radar you feel like, to someone you are the solar system.

Take Care,

Taaury37
