When I started playing this video this morning, my world stopped.

I’d been singing to one of my favorite songs.

Singing, smiling, swaying, and dancing while I sat cross-legged on my bed.

Then I clicked on this—and stopped breathing.

Chase Eagleson’s voice. I don’t even have words. I got chills. This brought tears to my eyes.

I’ve heard many versions of this song over the years—most of which are beautiful, and many of which have given me chills. That could be because of the nature of this song—it’s a deeply emotional, heart-wrenching, heartbreaking song, and so, one must sing it with a great depth of emotion.

I’m not going to lie; after listening to this, I now feel a little sad, and so I’m going to need to do something to feel lighter and happier again.

But I’m still so happy I came across this version.

Listening to this on repeat may be a little dangerous, since it’s so sad, but goodness gracious, is it damn beautiful!
