As a writer, I love to write about all the things that matters the most to me. Think about classical music, playing the violin, raising three daughters, writing my books, writing articles, my hopes, my fears, my dreams, and everything in between that my life has to offer.
Classical music is a passion of mine since I was about six years old. I started to play the cello at the age of six, and after a year, I exchanged the cello for the violin. I wanted to play the violin just like my sister. She did the conservatory. And I just wanted to do the same.
As a little kid, I danced classical ballet, jazz dance, and folklore dance. I remember the moments I got on stage during our two-yearly shows. I loved being on stage, but I also remember that I was afraid to show off what I was capable of doing. I rather sit down and wrote what I felt, on small pieces of paper I threw away, so nobody could read what I felt.
I wrote my feelings, emotions and all the happy and sad things in my life. I expressed myself a lot during my childhood years. I have been bullied, sexual abused, manipulated and gaslighted a lot. That took away my self-esteem a lot. Somehow I needed to express through my dance, writing, and playing the violin.
These are the reasons why I write, it gives space in my mind, to reflect on myself, as a human being, who I am, who I want to be in the future, and what my goals are in my life, as well as how realistic all this is.
