It keeps us detached from everything and thus makes us balanced in all situations
It also gets us beyond sense cravings because we can feel at peace without indulging in anything, otherwise, we feel driven to indulge in things that lead us to temporary peace or pleasure
The purpose behind everything that we do in our life is to feel safe, pleasant & expanded
& realizing ourselves helps us feel this without dependency on any external situation, thing, or person, all the time
& thus we can then devote our energy, time & life to doing activities which can help other lives to survive & thrive – not just human life but all forms of it on the entire planet in whichever way we chose to ?
