Rebel with a Cause
Losing a child is like losing your soul.
I lost my beloved Keisha last year,
and it drained the life out of me as I tried
to deal with it. Even now, every day, I try to
breathe in a world without her. A world
that no more feels like home to me, because
it is empty of her lively laugh, her melodious voice,
and her dancing around the house.
This book is for anyone who has lost a child
because no words can soothe the hurricanes you
hold within, but you try, and so, I am trying, too.
The harder we try to live even after our soul has been
taken away from us, the bigger rebels we are; but, we
are not just rebels… we’re rebels with a cause.
