I didn’t always ‘get it’

The feminine seemed so … obvious and yet for me, it was this elusive, insubstantial, exotic and deeply natural aspect that I *thought* I should understand … should BE … and yet the truth of the feminine continued to evade me for years

Around the time I truly ‘got it’ (if an energy is in fact something you even can get – which is a paradox in and of itself, because you cannot own an energy of course, only hold it as a state of being) I was the time I went on a solo camping trip along the North coast of Tasmania

One day laying in my tent on the North West coast of Tasmania, just on the edge of the wild Tarkine I was stretched out, listening the wildness of the wind and watching torrential rain begin to seep through the not-so-waterproof fly and suddenly I tasted the essence of the feminine code: surrender

Seeking the feminine

Now the energy of ‘Surrender’ had been an element I’d been working with for a few years, I’d been in women’s spaces and retreats, been mentored and continuously been exploring and working into my life, all of the feminine things: movement, creativity, self pleasure …

I even embraced cleaning, cooking, weaving, making and baking

And yet the feminine codes of depth continued to elude me

It’s like I was searching too hard, too desperate and desirous of a feminine spiritual life, that once again I looked with ‘consciousness’ and so of course, she was invisible

That’s the trick with the feminine, you CAN cultivate her, but she cannot be demanded of, or required to perform or achieve her state of being

The Paradox

It’s one of the greatest paradoxes working as a feminine led business leader and coach – to support others to be truly in the essence of the feminine, you must experience her yourself and let her guide you. But if she leads, then nothing often gets ‘done’ or ‘said’

And so what I discovered on that wet, windy day in my tent was that I had to slip into my consciousness and allow it to surrender before she could be revealed.

Who is she?

Her revelation is an embodied experience devoid of mental content or conscious thought … it is an experience without agenda that requires agenda to be dropped again and again until all is forgotten in the moment

The feminine is negative space

The void

That which has no mind

She who knows

And yet is without agenda

The feminine magnetises

Simmers

And swirls in the absoluteness of herself

To the exclusion of all else

She cannot and will not co-exist, because she is unparalleled, unequal and completely uninterested in such
