“Since when are you speaking about sexuality? I always knew you as a meditation teacher.”
I was. I still am. I always will be.
The difference is, my idea of meditation is that it includes all of life. Primarily, sexuality and speaking at the moment. (I know, I like meditating in some weird places right).
Embodied-presence though is really the only thing I’m interested in this lifetime. And my journey and teaching has been “how do we meet stillness, authenticity, in any area of life
The problem is, sometimes we can’t hear sex without thinking penetration. And in fact, sex, eros, is life. And my biggest shifts in my sexuality came not from learning another technique but changing how I relate to life.
Sexuality is perhaps just a magnifying glass for our life as a whole. And, this is fucking edgy for me to write about.
But, I also don’t see any way around it unless we start talking about it.
And am sick of seeing the suppression around sex.
