It’s my birthday. The anniversary of the day of my birth. I’ve written more writerly and meaningful birthday messages in the past.

I have four wishes; they’re above (the last one is to read that helpful article, for yourself, for your next birthday).

But mostly I want to honor Elephant, not myself..! Elephant’s turned 20. Will we make 21? That’s up to you. If we, grassroots independent community, continue to use and enjoy this grassroots, independent platform, instead of merely Big Tech’s TikTok and Instagram and Facebook and Twitter, we will be able to continue our mission to serve…you, and all sentient beings, within and beyond our respective choirs.
