Why I pick Wildflowers

Photo by Віктор Леончук on Pexels.

Black-Eyed Susan’s are a symbol of abuse,

I have only ever had one in the past

i leave the past behind

I will never forget me knots

are cool but not something

I pick in the wild

wild of me to never be

able to leave behind

a Black-Eyed Susan

when I see it is available

for the picking must be nature’s way of reminding

me to find beauty in the everyday

and that every day can have

it’s shares of bumps and hills

but you can choose which bumps

you take most of the time.

I never carry with me

things that should be left behind.

Beach rose is still my favorite.

Funny how my partners middle

name is Rose

must not be

a co-in-ci-dance

or left up to a coin toss

but when you know you know

Beach Rose is my favorite—
Bradshaw Bee bumbles

Bees are always happy

Always happy

to watch their Queen

dance.

You

dance

like rose petals

being blown softly

the breeze

Dance like a Butterfly

Dance

is

another

word

for

freedom.
You are my rose

wothout thorns

my safe space

my love

my bees fave

polinator

is you
Alida

Rose

my nose

always knows

and when

i know

i know

you know?
🙂
