I started modeling in the nude, in 2014. My friend and former dance group member, invited me to a photoshoot.
I started dancing classes before I was six years old, and then steadily until age twenty three, when I found myself in a rural state, where everyone, “knows everyone,” and there is limited dance access for hours.
This is when I moved more into self study, and watching videos, etc. I have also dabbled in yoga, and thoroughly love meditation. Yoga originally started with the breath, and then the asanas were added later on.
In 2016, I went to Costa Rica, after receiving a Scholarship for a dance teacher training retreat. I also was able to attend a workshop with Zoe Jakes, who dances with the musical performance group, Beats Antique.
I agreed to the photoshoot as a way to monitor myself in a different way, and bring some more life to my creative side, and my kundalini energy, as many may refer to this type of energy as.
From then on, I have worked with numerous local artists, and I’ve had many great experiences. Are there downsides? At times, absolutely, like anything else; this industry has its own roller coaster and amusement park rides, and not everybody likes all of the rides, and even if they did, people still have preferences.
Onlyfans has really built my confidence in other ways too. When playing the role of the spectator, and browsing other peoples profiles, one really gets a chance to see that there are people for everyone. People really like all kinds of shapes and sizes of people, and they have so many different kinks, interests, and attractions.
In September 2020, I begin my Onlyfans journey. In the first month, I was in the top 7.5% of the entire world, for that platform. That was without any masturbation videos and mostly still life imagery, despite my love of movement; on camera, it’s something that presents different challenges for me, than modeling does. Maybe one day I could be a figure model? It’s something that crosses my mind from time to time.
This is most definitely a healing art, and in doing this, I have gained some great insight.
I used to have a healing arts studio, briefly when I was 21 years old, I also used to do traveling therapy, and I’ve been working toward the goal of opening another studio over the years, and this is part of that. Art in itself can be very therapeutic, of just about any type.
In addition to nude modeling, I’m also interested in nature photography, fashion photography, poetry, journaling, cooking, singing, flow arts, and of course dancing. I also graduated from massage therapy school, in 2012, and I am a licensed, holistic massage therapist, meaning I’m also certified in polarity therapy, and my practice is catered around individuals as a whole, rather than an isolated problem within an individual.
With that being said, the average person on Onlyfans being the 50th percentile, makes about $180.00 a month, and that’s not a lot for the majority.
At this time, I am in the top 15% of the world on Onlyfans. Over the course of this time. I have found, that WebCam models, tend to make more.
One of my friends told me that she made more web camming in lingerie playing video games, live chatting people on a different site, then she ever had an only fans.
A different friend of mine told me that she made $1100.00 on the web camming site in a week, and even showed me her bank statement.
Two other people I know, are within the top 1% on Onlyfans, and one of them said they made $35,000.00, in six months, or something like that?
For me personally, I prefer imagery at this time, or videos that I make, but I have been seriously reconsidering that, after learning about this information. More money, equals more bills paid, and maybe I can even take some new dance classes soon, in person? Or buy a house?
Beyond the money, I’ve spent time examining the correlation between BDSM and tantra, plus their psychological benefits, and the information I’ve gathered, has been very helpful, and very interesting.
While Onlyfans is not my top money making method at this time, I do think that self expression may encourage others to be more comfortable with their own healing and self-expression, whatever that may be. I can also see how this would help in relating to others.
Believing in ourselves and knowing what we like, what we dislike, or what we hope to learn, gain, teach, or give, in this lifetime, are important matters, and building blocks to the foundation of our core essence.
One doesn’t even have to be a content creator, to get some of these benefits. Simply being an observer, offers some of them as well. Same with observing healthy relationships of all kinds, from platonic to sexual.
With the route, or foundation of our beings clear, organized, and healthy, we can in theory, make better decisions in all areas of our lives, or be in the right mindset, to be better able to.
Visualization is important, and if Onlyfans helps with that financially, or emotionally, I think that’s okay.
With the belief that I can achieve and that I am worthy of success, I went to the bank, to ask for a business loan for the first time in my life, and they connected me to a lender, who connected me to a program, that offers small business grants!
I then applied, submitted my business plan, and I was approved!
I cannot thank Onlyfans and all of my followers for this opportunity, but I can honestly say, that everything we do, makes up a part of who we are.
I personally think it’s awesome that I can make any money with my art on this site at all. I think that it’s a good opportunity anyways, and I am grateful for the people who have shown healthy support. So a huge thank you to all of you anyways, for your contribution in all of this.
I do think the best way to make money from modeling specifically, would be getting paid to model for photographers or events, which is also another avenue I’m interested in, now that my portfolio has grown quite a bit.
I think that in many ways this culture is repressed sexually, and I am glad to be a part of the healing.
May we all find moments of beauty, and peace within the chaos.
Love,
Tressa Lee Meyer
