“We must believe in our beauty,

and embrace the magic that it is.”

and so, it was the girl in the mirror

who had reached out and reeled

me in to show me that my reflection

was just as beautiful on the other side.

our reflection that is.

that, what we see is so much more

than what the world sees.

that, those wrinkles on the corner of

our eyes shows wisdom.

that, those wrinkles on the ends of

our smile shows bravery.

so, brave girl remain wise in a world

where everyone wants to be a page in

a superficial magazine and embrace

your reflection because what you see

is so much more than what the world sees.

because, what you see is magic.
