Moon in Libra, Sun in Libra

Hello Double Libra. The first thing I think of is Sting. He has role modeled this energy for me since I first met him. I worked with Sting for over a year and a half traveling with The Police. Then, last month, I had the chance to work with Sting right before his birthday here in Colorado! What an artist he is. A natural collaborator. Someone whose taste buds stand out even when just putting on his jeans.

If you look at all of Sting’s photos you will see his artistry. The sweater, the colors, the mood. His physical beauty, which is associated with the Venusian sign of Libra. He is a piece of art that elicits love, but oh my, when that harmony is interrupted…Libra is the part in all of us who longs for harmony at all costs.

Their gifts are reading, writing, creating art, practicing their instrument and being alone. Doing business in a way that has them stand apart because they are a team player who really tries to lead with kindness.

I came to understand Libra’s distaste for the lack of sweetness when I toured with Sting during his Police Reunion tour. After 23 years of being broken up, his production company suggested the band get back together to play all the Police classics. Sting said, “Okay.” Who wouldn’t with the huge price tag they were offering? As expected: every concert was sold out.

However, there were conflicts. As Sting said: think of having been divorced and then having to get in bed with your ex. Not a comfortable, harmonious sight. But in true Libra fashion, he would make it good for all of us, so on stage they rocked it. Sold out audiences all over the world. I played mediator; truth be told I was not always so successful, however without a doubt they did a great job onstage. It was offstage that their disharmony showed up.

When the tour was over, so was my job. I learned so much about Libra’s ability to make it work, to gloss over the disharmony, and to make do. We all do this in our relationships. We have a tolerance to keep our husbands/wives/friends/relatives happy even when there is something under the surface that is bugging us. Just go to the other room. Make it okay – says double Libra – for the kids, for the completion of the job, in the name of harmony. However, Sting would not revisit another tour with that band. No way, at least he wouldn’t back then. I’m sure everything softens over time.
