I’m writing you from old Hollywood. I’m out in LA for the green/fair-trade/Xmas shop one stop ecogift.com, where—thanks to founder Tommy Rosen, I’m a (junior) featured speaker with Seane Corn, Arianna Huffington, other superstars. In LA? You better make it, there’s 150 worthy companies, musicians, great speakers (with one exception of course)! Info and links:
ecogift.com read all about it here: here’s the info http://www.elephantjournal.com/2008/12/eco-gift-expo-08-your-one-stop-shop-this-holiday-season-environmentally-friendly-gifts-and-gadgets-feel-good-about-your-consumerism/

We got two ‘coming out’ parties these Holydays: the first, an Eco Ball, is at prAna with Yoga World Reach, is on Saturday 6-9 pm on December 13th and celebrates our turning elephant journal into elephantjournal.com, a bold, stupid, super-green move that may’ve been super-green of us, but cost us (in the short-term) nearly all our green revenues. But enough talk! Dress in your finest and come celebrate! RSVP here and now (tickets are on donation basis, so no worrie$): http://www.yogaworldreach.org/Yoga_World_Reach/Holiday_Ball.html
Then, we hold our Holyday Party at Laughing Goat with music, beer, ecofashion and just plain cocktail standing around chatting kinda stuff: December 18th, 700pm at Laughing Goat.

Want organic yumminess at half off the sticker price? Josh Onysko is making like a green Santa and offering Pangea Organics wholesale for the Holidays only:
Born out of the desire to do right by the planet, Pangea Organics has a great gift idea to let you in on the fun, too! After two years in development, Boulder-based Pangea Organics just released a series of holiday gift boxes that actually grow Spruce Trees. Yes, that’s right. Just like their plantable packaging that grows organic, edible sweet basil, the box itself grows a tree. Just soak the box in water for a day, and plant it in the earth. If everyone plants their holiday gift box and bar soap box this year, collectively, we will have planted 122,000 trees which is equivalent to not driving 30 million miles in one year! Multiply that out by 75 years, the average lifespan of a Spruce, and that’s 2 billion, 250 millions that we’re collectively offsetting!
