Boulder: Bring a friend, comment below, get 1 free class next May 10, only: Monday noon at Yoga Workshop w Angel Lin.

Spread the Word!

Last two weeks, I’ve taken a great class with Angel Lin at Richard Freeman’s Yoga Workshop in Boulder, Colorado by Spruce Pool.

I’ve known her for years, but had never studied with her. She’s great on alignment and adjustments, fun, and I swear to go it may’ve been the first class I’ve physically enjoyed (yoga is realllly hard for me) in a year.

If you’re in Boulder, leave a comment below, and meet us next Monday at the Workshop—if you bring a friend, elephant will treat one of you to the class (we have a longterm sponsorship with the Workshop, and need to offload some of our credit—what better way to do so than to magnetize some new energy and students down to the Workshop, instead of just using it ourselves!). So call this an experiment: let’s flood Angel’s class next Monday, noon, in Boulder! Comment below and RSVP, and arrive a few minutes early to take advantage of this ele-offer.

Angel Lin, RYT has been practicing yoga since 1995 and continues to embrace this life transforming experience through her daily practice and study of this Eastern Philosophy. After moving to Boulder from New York City, she decided to leave a career in interior design to teach yoga full time. Angel founded Shri Yoga in 2003 to inspire people to connect with their innate nature/goodness and to bring harmony to their lives through the practice of mindful movement.

Angel studied with Alan Finger and received her 500-hours teaching certification in ISHTA tradition in 2002. She has also studied with many renowned teachers like Shiva Rea, Tias Little, Sarah Powers and Gabriella Giubilaro. A dedicated student of Richard Freeman, she has completed several of his Advanced Teacher Intensive in the past years. Her yoga practice and teaching are deeply influenced and inspired by her continuing study with Richard Freeman, Gabriella Giubilaro, and Sarah Powers.

Angel’s teaching style:

    • a dynamic and challenging vinyasa incorporating Iyengar base alignment.
    • combines an understanding of human anatomy, with intuitive and skillful adjustments.
    • infuses the teaching of hatha, tantra, ayurveda and Buddhism philosophy and invites her students to explore their “authentic self ” and to cultivate mindfulness through yoga practice.
    • simple and lighthearted approach to this spiritual practice makes it practical and accessible to our modern day living.
    • “I am so grateful to my teachers, especially Richard Freeman for sharing his insight into the deeper meaning of yoga and impermanence, and for guiding me towards my dharma path…and Mother Earth, the ultimate GURU!”
